Mid last month we almost stopped and caught our breath whilst the air conditioning unit for the Windsor Terrace at Souths was updated and our kitchen became an unworkable obstacle course of tradesmen, tools and the fallout of removing doors and walls.
The week following saw Melbourne Cup's 2 course lunch with canapés for 100 on the Tuesday, Friday was a 2 course wedding dinner for 90, Saturday a buffet for 100 followed by a wedding lunch for 200 on the Sunday and on the Monday night we served 2 courses to a group of 15 celebrating their year end Christmas Party.

Our partnership with Souths began in the last week of July this year, already it is nearly the last week of September! It's been a busy 8 week period, growing our solid, talented team and expanding our business into agency work for the Newcastle Jockey Club. A new Unox oven that cleans itself has been installed and our first wedding at South Newcastle Rugby League Club was last weekend and we are planning the Christmas menus already!

Grandma's patty & jelly cake tins & recipes converted with Thermomix technology.. (Red wine bottle rolling pin as we don't have one!) A night of baking with no stress mess & sweets that were pure, rustic & nostalgic ..
Justine met Steve in a kitchen on the outskirts of the outback in 2012, fell in love 5 days later & married on St Valentine's Day in the Hunter Valley in 2013.
